		<description>I agree wholeheartedly with this. It is also been an issue with local government spending on older people in Scotland. Prior to 2007 there were funding streams such as Supporting People where for every pound spent at least two pounds was saved in other areas of public expenditure. The SNP ended the Supporting People fund, did not give any national support to an outcome for Older People so local authorities all but ended expenditure supporting those who had benefitted previously.</description>
